College and Career Academies

A College and Career Academy is a learning community within a high school that you can participate in during your high school education.

This means that you will take classes with the same group of students throughout high school. You must apply and be accepted, with your parents knowledge and support, to an academy.

Map of CTE College and Career AcademiesAcademies feature a unique approach to prepare you for college and career success.

If you apply and are accepted to a College and Career Academy, your four years of high school will include 4 years of college-prep courses that meet CPS graduation requirements as well as 3 to 4 classes that focus on the program you chose.
